Reclaiming Female Health
Science and medicine has largely neglected female health. In fact, it was only in 1993 that the USA passed a law requiring research trials to include women!
Today, most medical research is still done on men. This is because the male-dominated world considers females “complicated” due to their hormonal changes and menstrual cycles.
We believe that the female body and hormones are a source of wonder that should be known, understood and celebrated. Our minilab gives women the opportunity to easily gain scientific knowledge about her own unique cycle, hormonal trends, and health.
By using inne, you are contributing to knowledge about female hormones. We'll never violate your privacy or sell your data, but anonymise it to gain a better scientific understanding of the female body and to improve our product.
Let’s reclaim female health, together.

One tool, many journeys
Here's what women say about inne
“The first month I used inne, my ovulation was immediately pinpointed…[and] on my second cycle with inne, I got pregnant.”
“inne helped me to realize that there was a correlation between my skin, my cycle phase, and hormones.”
“The testing fits perfectly into my busy lifestyle, the test itself is super convenient and could not be any easier.”
"I just felt safer about our journey in trying to conceive. Many of my male friends in the same situation didn't feel empowered."
"Cycle tracking is so much more than just predicting my period. With the help of inne, I can analyze my cycle like a scientist."
“Using inne has made me confident in my decision to stay off hormonal contraception and empowers me because I am equipped with knowledge of my own body."
“I have learnt that I do not ovulate every month and that my cycle is not as regular as I thought it was.”
After a few months of trying to get pregnant with no luck, I discovered inne. I had been using multiple methods to try to time conception correctly around my ovulation, but still felt like I was not 100% sure if it was happening at the same time every month.
The first month I used inne, my ovulation was immediately pinpointed. I was so excited I finally had found a system that predicted and confirmed my ovulation. And on my second cycle with inne, I got pregnant.
Sadly, my first two pregnancies did not work out. But inne helped me to see when my cycle and ovulation came back each time after the miscarriages. My third pregnancy resulted in my son, who is now 1 year old.
After getting off the pill a few years ago I started noticing my eczema would flare up randomly, almost every month. At first, I thought it was related to stress, but then when it kept coming so consistently, I wondered if it could be related to my cycle.
Then, by chance, a friend introduced me to inne, and I was so curious to see if there could be any relation between my eczema and my hormones. Sure enough, I noticed that whenever my progesterone would get higher I would have a flare-up.
inne helped me to realize that there was a correlation between my skin, my cycle phase, and hormones, and I was able to use this observation in explaining my symptoms to my doctor in order to come up with a treatment plan.
I was tired of taking the pill, it just did not feel right anymore and after sharing my concerns with my former gynaecologist, who was not understanding this at all, I then researched alternative methods online on my own and started tracking my cycle by using a method that examines the urine, which was too complicated and vague for me. So I switched to measuring my basal temperature which was easier in the beginning. However, I have a very busy lifestyle, I commute between three different cities, sometimes have some irregular sleeping patterns, and go out now and then. This lifestyle was leading to inaccurate results. Then I tried inne, the four-hour timeframe for the testing fits perfectly into my busy lifestyle, the test itself is super convenient and cannot be any easier. The inne app gives me so many valuable insights not just about my ovulation but also on my cycle in general and all the symptoms that come with it from a deep scientific level.
Once we tried to get pregnant and it didn't work for about a year, after visiting 2 specific clinics we knew that there was nothing major in one of us, we just needed to keep trying.
The "data" of Inne made me so much more confident that it would work sooner or later.
Seeing my partner doing the measurement in the morning didn't affect me at all, since it was so seamless and quick, we knew exactly when the fertile days were and being equipped with real data and didn't have to rely on guess work, helped us a lot.
In general, I just felt safer about our journey in trying to conceive. Many of my male friends in the same situation didn't feel empowered, felt like their partner had most control but they were left out, or more specifically, even the women were left in the dark.
Inne kind of gave me a transparency advantage, that led to a better feeling and more trust.
I am not looking to get pregnant at the stage of life I am in. Turning to hormonal birth control seemed like a drastic measure for me medically and I’m keen on staying as natural as possible. I also am not comfortable with using an IUD, so I looked for a form of natural contraception that would work.
Simply tracking my period dates made me nervous. I needed an understanding of my fertile window too. I heard of inne right as I moved to Berlin and immediately knew this was a product I could use to fit my contraceptive needs.
It so intelligently tells me about my fertile days and confirms my ovulation, an event that I can't detect without the aid of hormonal insights. Using inne has made me confident in my decision to stay off hormonal contraception and empowers me because I am equipped with knowledge of my own body.
When inne became available to me a few years ago, I didn’t think twice. For the first time, I felt free and grateful that a small gadget like inne was giving me so much autonomy and independence.
I love using it, it is my morning delight. With such a simple step I get to tune into my body, understand when I am fertile or not, and feel empowered in my sexuality to make love more profoundly.
I am now 44 years old, and with inne, I have learnt that I do not ovulate every month and that my cycle is not as regular as I thought it was.
It is also only now, that I came to understand the meaning of my vaginal fluids throughout my cycle, and appreciate having a menstrual cycle even if I do not wish to have children.
